Private Courses One of the newer courses in Granbury, Harbor Lakes Golf Club opened in 2003 and features 18 holes par 72 with over 7,239 yards with breathtaking views of Lake Granbury. This facility is also offers a 10,000 sq ft club house with lockers, a bar, 60-seat grill, pro shop, a pool, driving range and a 150-person ballroom. The DeCordova Bend Course is an 18-hole course featuring 6,423 yards with the longest tees for a par 70. Both the 9-hole and 18-hole courses are Bermuda grass courses which were designed by jointly by Leon Howard and Dave Bennett, ASGCA. and each has a rating of 70.2 and a slope rating of 119. It features 6,830 yards of golf with a par 72. The course is rated at 72.5 and has a slope rating of 129. It opened in 1972 and was designed by Leon Howard. The 18-hole, 6,743-yard Nutcracker course is located at the Nutcracker Golf Club facility. This course was designed by Lee Singletary and opened in 1992. Public Courses Granbury Course is a 9-hole course at the Granbury Country Club was designed by Leon Howard and opened in 1972. This is a golf only facility and is open to the public. The scenic course length is 3,054 yards and par 36. Hidden Oaks Golf Course is an 18-hole championship golf course designed by Rex Worrell and opened in 1997. With a 6,880-yard course, it has some of the the longest tees for a par 72, and features tree-lined fairways and meandering streams and lakes. It also includes a 4-tier driving range and chipping putting greens. It is home to the Tony Martinez School of Golf which offers an award winning junior golf program.
